Katrina Crouch - Fine Artist Branding Photos

Last year I had the privilege of working with some of my most talented friends and they came together to help take my business to the next level. After 2020 and having twins, I had fallen into a rut and my internet presence and branding images overall were outdated (seriously, my last branding work was done in 2018 when I was still working exclusiely in weddings). It was time for a refresh!

I worked with a dream team (more about that below), and I’m so thankful for the images that we were able to capture and the amount of work that it takes off of my plate now. While this is definitely not an exhaustive gallery of all of the images captured, I thought it was a good mix of the beauty that they brought to life. Enjoy!

Shanell Photography was the first person I reached out to about this shoot. I love her soft and airy style that fits so well with my own brand aesthetic. She also works a hybrid of film and digital and I love, LOOOOVE film photography. Another wonderful reason to hire her is that she is good at directing. After a while I was mentally exhausted and the RBF was getting real as I concentrated on the next thing to do or what types of images I needed to capture. She was great at bringing me back to the present reality—I was in front of the camera and should act like it! haha

Next step was hiring Meaghan from Birch Affair to handle all of the styling for me. All of the beautiful arrangements, the items on the desk, the galleries—and even a lot of the items that I was holding—were all orchestrated by her masterful eye and hand. She seemed to read my mind and understand my end goals and aesthetic even better than I did. She relieved so much of my stress and really allowed me to focus on what only I could do on that day (and even gave me the freedom and time to draw and paint some of the beautiful florals at Greencrest!.

Which brings me to the final piece of the puzzle. The venue: Greencrest Manor. One of my very favorite venues ever from my wedding stationery days, I’ve become good friends with the owner and could not think of a better place to have my branding photos taken. Thankfully, she agreed and I was able to wonder the gardens and rooms that I have admired so much for years.
