How To Draw a Realistic Mouse

I can’t believe I’m posting this video. I can’t believe I’m the kind of girl who draws a MOUSE.

But miracles happen and here’s the proof! haha!
I’ve been loving adding insects and other living creatures into my floral compositions lately to add a little bit of extra personality and life to the piece. I think it really adds to the story. And this piece is the perfect example—I love the soft heart that is implied between the tulip and leaf along with the two mice. I guess it should be a “romantic” piece, but whenever I create mice I’m picturing my twin boys! hahaha
But I asked Todd what he thought and he said that I’m definitely the upside down mouse and he’s the one laughing at me from below (the one we are drawing today)

Anywayyyyyy! Back to the video…

In this tutorial, I will take you through my real-time drawing process of this little mouse! I'll show you the drawing techniques that I used, share some of my favorite realistic drawing tricks and even share some of the mistakes that I make along the way!

Enjoy! (supplies listed below video)
