The BEST Wax Seal Stampers:

Vintage Peony: Okay, we knew this one was coming, right? Haha, I LOVE THIS WAX SEAL STAMP! I love the 3D effect, the details, the fact that it’s peonies… I love it. I recommend using an extra half-pump of wax if you’re using a glue gun to pour your wax because the 3D details on this stamp need a little more wax to fill them.

Hedrea Wreath: This is my favorite “wreath” wax seal. Designed by the talented Ciarra Claire, this wreath is delightfully whimsical and free but not overwhelming or so natural that it has “sparse” areas. In fact, my biggest complaint with most wreaths is that they are too thin… I like them full and bold and this one fits the bill.

You Give Me Butterflies: Another beautiful 3D stamper, this butterfly wax seal stamp has a lot of intricate details along the wings of the main butterfly as well as some delicate, smaller butterflies in the background. A favorite among my own children, this one is always popular, and for good reason!

Cherry Blossom: One of my favorite floral wax seals, the Cherry Blossom stamper always gives me the most beautiful impression while retaining the more delicate details. She also made an oval version that I regret passing on in favor of the smaller.

Heron: The first of my smaller but growing “bird wax seal” collection, this 3D wax seal stamp features a graceful and stately heron (thus the name, genius, I know!). I love how the body is captured with the 3D format while the long and lean legs and details of the water below are more subtle and delicate. Great for a costal theme wedding or aesthetic.

Provence: Admittedly, I almost passed on this wax seal stamper but something kept calling me back to it and I’m so glad I finally purchased it! There are a number of “herb” or stem-like designs in the wax seal world but this one is by far my favorite! I love the intricate details that are captured and the beautiful texture. One of my favorite and underrated wax seal stamps of all time.

Fleur de Lis: Obviously, I have a weakness for 3D wax seal stamps! I love how stately this wax seal stamp is and the creative spin that it takes on the traditional Fleur de Lis by adding a lot of texture and movement. I especially enjoy using this stamp for more masculine events or occasions. In a traditional black? It’s amazing.

Chinoiserie Bird: Inspired by the beautiful Chinoiserie wallpapers and textiles that have caught my eye lately, the Chinoiserie Bird wax seal stamper is perfect for a grandmilenial wedding aesthetic. I love the French vibes it gives too. And can I just say that I’m now obsessed with oval wax seals? This is the first in my collection and definitely won’t be my last!

Maybelle: The dancing bells and swaying leaves in this wax seal stamp make it easy to understand why lily of the valley flowers were popular for weddings for centuries. Representing purity and love, this lily of the valley wax seal is perfect for wedding stationery.

Honorable Mention:

In an effort to keep everything as much the BEST of the best as possible, I decided not to include these designs in my official round-up for best wax seal stamps. BUT, I do think they deserve a little side note, so here we go:

Blushed Bride: My first design and will always have a special place in my heart. But being that it was my first design, I would love to give her a little update, so even if it’s just the case that I see things that I would change now, I don’t include her among my “best of the best”… even if I still do use and love her!

Blank Wax Seals: Under appreciated—I love a good blank wax seal! There are so many fun and creative ways to use a blank wax seal stamper, including my personal favorite: pressed flowers! I’ve had mine for a few years now and am so thankful that I have one.

Eloise (Vase & Florals): This one is kinda painful for me. I think it’s so beautiful: the 3D vase, the beautiful and wild floral bouquet… but it’s not as clear of a stamp as I would like on the flowers. Sometimes the upper left doesn’t show up very well and I find that a little more annoying. I actually think she’s worth the extra effort, but I can’t put her on my “best of the best wax seal stamps” list when you have to be so fussy with it.

DIY wax seals: While not the most long lasting stamper in my collection (thus, not in the “best of the best”), few things are more fun than designing your own wax seal stamper and using it! I made this one in a tutorial with an old earring and she’s still going strong!
